Psalm 119:11 says” Thy word have I hidden in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Joshua 1:8 says’ This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Proverbs 3:3 says” Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
What do all three of these scriptures have in common? It’s the WORD they have in common. God cares for each of us so much that He want us to not only write it upon our hearts but to wear it around our necks like a piece of jewelry. In other words when we get up every day God want us to make sure we are properly fit for today.
I don’t know about you but there are times when I don’t always wear my Godly clothes, I know I am to put them on, but I do forget but through the course of my day something will either happen to make me remember to go and put it on. The best thing is that if we forgot to put it on that morning, we don’t have to go home to get it. For the word is written on our hearts and ready to be spoken from our lips.
You might be saying well I have many problems in my life, and it seems like God is not listening to me. I want to first say this. You must stop speaking negative words out of your mouth and know that God hears every one of His children who calls upon His name. Secondly you must let His word work in your life. You must get to a place where you just simply believe God no matter what. Even when it makes no sense to you at all.
Jesus tells us about His word. Mediating on His word is reciting it. Living and breathing it. Write it down and tuck it away in your heart. God prepares His children for this world He knows just how cruel and unfair it is. Jesus wants us to be just like Him ready for any and everything.
Have you ever seen Jesus sweat anything? Did Jesus ever let the enemy win over Him? NO, He did not! JESUS is victorious and so are we.
