When You are Stuck!!!

Psalm 34: 17-19 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

There is nothing about being stuck pretty. Rather were stuck in the middle of life or stuck from trying, it is frustrating. Many times, it has nothing to do with what we done or should have done. Merely it’s just life either way it’s not pretty.

Look at the life of a turtle the turtle goes about day and night very slow not thinking about what creature could chase him. The turtle only thinks about provision and reaching its next destination.

As the turtle goes about his day the turtle has found himself on his back. Now he has a dilemma because he needs help to get right side up. He lays there waiting for either a person or just life it’s to turn him right side up. But if it doesn’t happen the turtle ends up dying because he is not able to go and get provision like water and food and so he eventually dies.

You and I we go about our day with our agendas in our minds, and every now and then life comes and blow us right on our backs. We question God as to why this happen? We blame God for it. We listen to the enemy as he speaks to us telling us that we are not going to get up from this.” Before we blame God how about calling His name first and watch Him place your feet on solid ground.

  1. Thank You for these encouraging words, Desiray.
At those times when I am feeling stuck or stagnant. I have come to know now, that invariably, it is DUE TO ME wandering away from spending time of quality with the Lord. Becoming distracted and frustrated and not feeding consistently on His Word. As I take time to slow down, refocus, pray in the Spirit and saturate myself in His Word, His peace takes over and I am pulled up and out of the ‘bog’, just as a sheep who is stuck and the Shepherd guides it to safety!
Desiray, May the Lord bless you and keep you, as you continue faithfully to minister to others regularly with your Blog. xx

    1. You are so right sis. When we stray on our own. We are like the sheep stuck in the mud. The Father cares for us so deeply that He picks up our feet and throw us in His arms.

We serve an Awesome God who doesn’t change at all.
