Pray

Prayer is like drinking a fresh glass of water it quenches your thirst:

When it comes to “Prayer” did you know that it is very vital to our living. We are to pray for ourselves and  for others. When you and I pray we are communicating to the Father, if you don’t talk to Him you will never know what the Father has to say to you?

Let me give you an illustration of how vital “prayer” is.   When you and I don’t take liquids into our physical bodies our body will dehydrate, same as with prayer, when we don’t pray our spirit man become dehydrated, if we go to long without liquids  our physical bodies will suffer damage to our organs. When we go days without praying our spiritual body suffers.

In order for us to know God’s voice we must be in communion with the Father and we do that by developing a discipline lifestyle of prayer. A discipline lifestyle of prayer is making it a habit to pray every day.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God…Philippians 4:6

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective…James 5:16

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force…Matthew 11:12

  1. I agree.
I had a friend once who was so dehydrated that she stopped feeling thirsty. It was only the kindness of a stranger who insisted she drank some water and stayed in the shade that saved her from getting really ill – or worse. I think there are rather alot of people who are spiritually dehydrated but no longer thirsty.
    God bless

    1. thanks for sharing that because allot really are as you said no longer thirsty…Thank you for coming by the Cafe and I hope you come again very soon.
