Philippians 2:5 say’s Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
The New Year 2018 is here. What did you do on this New Year? Did we change our attitude?
According to Webster’s the word attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior.
How was your attitude the moment you woke up? No, it’s not a trick question at all it’s a simple question. If we woke up with the same negative mindset and behavior, then we brought our nasty attitude with us in 2018.
I totally understand that someone might have been facing an issue towards the end of 2017 and that you might be still feeling the effects of it. But that doesn’t mean that you should harbor those ill feelings into the New Year. If we would allow the Holy Spirit to change our attitude we will see things from a totally different respective.
Do you want to see life in a whole new way then let the Lord have control over your heart? We see in scripture that when Jesus was brought in front of the leaders He didn’t let what was happen to Him change His attitude. His attitude was all about doing the Father’s work. When we look at Ananias and his wife Sapphira look at the attitude of their hearts, they both lied to the Holy Spirit and at once they died.
God looks at man’s heart you and I will never be able to trust what is in our hearts. Therefore, we must allow the Lord Jesus to have control over our hearts so that He can fill our hearts. When we walk in Him there is no room for our attitudes to reign. It’s when we are not walking with the Lord that our attitudes take over.
When the Lord changes our hearts, we will be surprise as to how we see our life.
