Luke 21:36 say’s But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

In preparation for life what steps do you take to be ready? I would say that it’s safe to say that we all have some type of idea as to prepare for what we are wanting to achieve. But are we preparing the correct way? If we all would inventory our lives, we will see that we really aren’t doing well as we thought we are.

If we must assemble something we can look over the instructions that came with it and get it finished. I believe that everything in life comes with instructions the problem is that we don’t go to the source to obtain the information.

Therefore, we make so many wrong decisions in life. For example, now please humor me; for a car to run it must have gas in its tank. Now let’s say you don’t want to use gas but you are set on using whatever you want. So, you put water in the gas tank. What do you think will happen to the car’s engine?

One of the things we love to do is substitute instead of doing what the instructions call for. When my mother use to cook for us kids when we were small she never substituted any item, as far as I know I don’t even think that there was any mention of substitution until later in years.

We do the same thing with God’s word, we don’t like what it says so we add and omit to justify our own satisfaction. Then we wonder why God hasn’t answered us or why the word it’s working. Well, first it won’t work if you omit and do a substitution to it.

We can’t be prepared for life if we aren’t willing to open the instructions that comes from the bible. How prepared are you for life? If you aren’t sure I suggest you open the bible to find out how to be prepared.

It’s a sad state for a Christian to be walking around in circles in life not knowing if they are prepared for life.

You can NOT substitute to be Ready!
