Either your a Woman of Virtue or Your A Worldly Woman

Proverbs 31:30 says that “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.”

How can you call yourself a Woman of Virtue and Still Acting Like A Worldly Woman?

Many women today have lost sight of what true beauty is. For some reason most women think that in order for them to have true beauty they must dress to the gills. You’ve seen them with their overdone makeup and flashy clothing. They dress up in high heels a dangled earrings while doing their grocery shopping. Then there are those who squeeze themselves into tight-fitting jeans and form-fitting tops that a child can wear. Do you not know that this is not “Real Beauty” sadly enough, we have Saints who profess to be a Woman of Virtue but you could not tell by he way she dress. Why does a woman place so much emphasis on her outer appearance?

Unfortunately, many women are obsessed with themselves. They fret over their clothing size, and worry over their hair color or style. The fact is that they are never happy with the way they look, as they continue to fuel their vanity and their need for attention. This kind of behavior has even crept into the church, with the outward appearance having more of an influence than the heart of an individual. This is not the way God intended His children to live. It grieves God when they seek attention for themselves rather than pointing the attention to Him.

The kind of beauty that lasts is the beauty that reflects an inward heart of submission, and a love for God and His people. As women grow older, the evidence of their age will begin to appear. There is nothing that can be done to change the clock of aging time. We all age because of man’s fall to sin. A woman of virtue is her fear of God, wisdom, her gentleness and submission to God. That is what makes her attractive long after her outer appearance has aged.

Note: If you are not living like a woman of virtue stop professing that you are, because God does not approve of His children acting like the world.
